ASSE CERTIFIED BACKFLOW PREVENTION ASSEMBLY TESTERS
As of January 1, 2018, the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy (EGLE) requires that the Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner’s office only accept backflow prevention assembly tests performed and signed by an American Society of Sanitary Engineering (ASSE) Standard 5110 certified tester. Please note that you are responsible to hire and pay for any services performed. We neither endorse nor recommend individual testers. However, we suggest you contact several firms for price quotes, comparisons and to verify ASSE certifications are valid and current prior to making your selection.
