Miscellaneous

  • Asbestos - There are two types of asbestos; friable and non-friable.  Friable requires more handling precautions than non-friable but both are hazardous waste.  This material can be a serious health threat if not handled properly.  Please bundle tiles or shingles.  Bag, tape and label other asbestos containing materials ACM.  Urgent professional disposal options may be found under "Asbestos Removal and Abatement Service" in the phone book.
